At twenty-eight years of age and no previous formal training whatsoever, one could say Bor Pungerčič is a bit of a late-comer to dance. But having passed through physics, philosophy, literature and architecture on his way here, he believes the experience he brings along is that much the richer.
Since his enrollment at the Faculty of architecture, which in a way marks the beginning of his involvement with the arts in a formal way, he has been consciously and intuitively expanding his realm of action. Starting with art projects, such as the network of multi-sensory installations developed for the ‘’Sensing Mobility’’ workshop in Rotterdam; or arch./urban interventions, like the project for Trg republike in Ljubljana for the ‘’Realizing your potential’’ competition, he slowly moved toward the performing arts.

Reviving the ancient houses of the region, the architect and creator of a perfect life that is out of the ordinary, Emir Kušturica, has built a town.
The idea showed up 2002. During the shooting of movie Life is a miracle at the nearby hill. During the shooting weather was bad and in period of waiting for sun to show up, Mr Kušturica got an idea to build a house for himself. After sometime, as artist, he got new ideas, and that is how our woodentown become.

Pomi (Potential Architecture Studio) is a studio class that has been run in the Department of Architecture of Osmangazi University in Eskişehir since 2002. The studio process adopted in Pomi is predominantly based on the struggle between collectivist and individual creativity. Simona-Grazia Dima was born in Timişoara, in a family of writers. When she was eight years old she won a prize for a theatrical sketch, Lica’s Mask, which was staged by the State Puppet Theatre in Timişoara, as well as on tours throughout Romania and abroad (Modena, Italy).
This month the tenth collection of the Romanian poet Simona-Grazia Dima, entitled La ora fulgerului (When the Lightnings Start Flaring), will be out.

Anđa Marić is the singer of Kisha project, which has just released their debut album called The Summer (A nyar). “To me at the beginning Kisha was something very private. A project we all did for our souls, for fun, letting go in a musical direction we never went before. The lyrics are deeply inspired by my grandma and her mother, my life during summers I spent in Hungary, at the same spot like Ady Endre (Hungarian poet) who’s lyrics I borrowed”, says Anđa.

The export risk insurance provided by Germany, Austria and Switzerland for the Ilisu project has ended. The contractually stipulated requirements in the areas of the environment, cultural heritage and resettlement were not sufficiently fulfilled. As a result, there was no longer a basis for continuing the project with export risk insurance from the three countries, thus ending the export risk insurance cover. more…

The newly built Church Parish Complex in Zagreb has the intention to provide with its contents a new life quality to the New Zagreb part of the city, particularly Travno quarter. In the course of process of creating this project, authors have been thinking of sacrality as a universal architectural topic. Folkart Narlıdere, the most luxurious housing project in Turkey, which sits on a 70,000-square-meter area in İzmir’s Narlıdere district was completed in December 2008. The Ana Monro Theatre is representing their 12th Ana Desetnica street festival. Ana Monro Theatre was founded in 1982 and during the 80s and the 90s it was the only organization in Slovenia practicing street theatre in all its glory. Street theatre in Slovenia first took off when the Ljubljana Ana Monro Theatre met the Maribor National House.

The Cursor is a comment on the current politics of representation in Macedonia. It is an intervention on the 66m high Millenium Cross built in 2000 on the mountain Vodno in Skopje. Vodno is situated on the south side of river Vadar which divides the city in two parts: the Macedonian southern part and the Albanian northern part. Short Cuts #2 by NOMAD Dance Academy are representing the final step on their long journey. Short Cuts #2 is an international contemporary dance staging of ideas of thirteen travelling choreographers and dancers from six South-Slavic, or so-called Balkan countries (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Bulgaria), as well as other countries (Latvia, France and U.S.A), who had been living, travelling and creating in the framework of the NOMAD Dance Academy programme between 24 February and 22 June 2009.

Within international Trimo Urban Crash competition, which awards the most innovative and creative ideas from students of architecture, Trimo this year received 147 projects from 17 countries.
