Recently inaugurated 200 m² fashion store located in Kolonaki, Athens is situated in two floors with large windows proving an easy seethrough to the space. Windows are not used as usual show-cases, but as a perspective to guide the vision through exposed dresses all over the room. The space of the store was reorganized and clarified to understand structural elements. Simple walls, few columns and beams constitute architectural elements. This space shows a part of a larger research that Gonzalez and Haase are working on consisting in imperceptible changes in space that can modify behaviors. more…

Aleksandar Georgiev is interested in the sensation of sending and receiving pain. In his latest piece named THRESHOL(in process “D”) he is using the pain threshold and pain tolerance as resources for movement and as well as tools for creating different states and images within duration of the movement action. The intention is to play with perception of sending and receiving the inputs of physical touch/pain. He started from the opinion that we lose the possibilities of pure touch/pain after certain year of our life. As the time is passing and we receive more information we over do it. As this becomes a routine and our brain is just operating from memory without letting us feel it another way.

The old medieval town of Piran with its narrow streets and tightly packed houses reigns already for centuries over the bay of Piran. Maritime trade and the trade with the hinterland, salt pans and the ideal climate ensured wealth and power to Piran. Elder scientists support the supposition that the origin of the name Piran could derive from the Celtic word bior-dun, supposed to mean a settlement on the hill, while younger generation advocates the explanation of the Greek word pyr – fire, as the original settlement was primarily used as a lighthouse for vessels sailing to nearby Greek colony Aegida on the site of today town Koper.

Just as we know where people come from simply by the dialect they speak, we recognise some musicians from the language of their music, which is, in such a case, hard to define in the context of ordinary popular music genres or even trends.
