Rok Predin in the field of Slovenian popular music, original music is not often referred to as an individual genre. But individuality is the very element which defines music most thoroughly. Just as we know where people come from simply by the dialect they speak, we recognise some musicians from the language of their music, which is, in such a case, hard to define in the context of ordinary popular music genres or even trends. Human relations as inspiration have led me to fire, one of the four basic elements, that has many different forms on the material and a great deal of symbolic meanings on the spiritual level.
How to integrate the consequences of fire into a dress without destroying it, but adding value, has become the goal or the solution throughout the process, which simultaneously offers an interpretation within the framework of human relations.
Situated at the foot of a mountain on the Turkish Riviera, is a small beach town known as Oludeniz. Not only is this town famous for it’s breathtaking landscape of brilliant blue waters and vivid green forests, but it is also arguably one of the best places in the world to go paragliding.
For many of the thousands of tourists every year, paragliding is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, a moment captured through a fish-eye lens and displayed proudly on their lounge room walls. But for approximately 150 of the local men, this is not an experience but a way of life. MORE…

In the locality of Baredi above Izola there is an oilve grove of 600 trees, where Miran Adamič makes one of the best olive oils in Slovenia. The Slovenian Istra is situated in one of the northernmost geographical positions in the Mediterranean, where the olive tree still grows. In terms of its olive oil production, Slovenia is just a small dot on the world map if we consider the statistical data which show that approx. 600,000 olive trees are planted on its soil (for a better explanation suffice it to say that only one of the major Spanish producers cultivates one million olive trees). Tomislav Brajnović is a participant in “The Artic circle” project with his work called »Egotrip«. He was born in Zagreb 1965. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb 1993 and went on to complete his Masters Degree at St. Martins College of Art London 2003.
Recognition and reaction to the context, location of the neuralgic points, use of the local visual, symbolic and other ‘languages’, exploration of the art scene and its critical frame are the main determinants of his artistic activity. At the same time it is the search for a human dimension and ’spiritual gravity’, natural speed of life and balance between the human, the nature and God. MORE…
