From May 26th to 31st, Belgrade hosts Belgrade Design Week 2009.
Under the title SPEED2, this year’s design week has as its focus the rapid changes we have seen in the world of business over the past months and the solutions that can be found for the industry.
Belgrade Design Week 09 consists of :
- Three-day international conference “SPEED2”
- For the first time, 5-day creative industries and design fair “designPark”
The conference presents the most groundbreaking thinkers to speak on their most creative and innovative ideas, showing how their expertise can be made to work for your business or product as it has for theirs. This year’s speakers include Tony Chambers from Wallpaper, architects Jurgen Mayer, designers from Danish studio MUUTO, Branko Lukic, a designer from Serbia working in San Francisco, directors of world famous branding and advertising studio POKE London, Pentagram and Airside.
dizajnPark – creative industries fair – is devided into five separate zones specific to different areas of design (objectZone, communicationZone, spaceZone, exhibitionZone and the talentZone) dizajnPark presents designers, importers, distributors and manufacturers of furniture and other home objects from Serbia and around the world.
As an exclusive showcase of the Serbian and regional creative scene, dizajnPark is a marvelous opportunity for ad-agencies, designers, architects, urban planners, branding studios, photographers, animators, production houses, event organizers, illustrators, universities, media, technology/multimedia studios, developers and all other creative professionals to present themselves to the public and others in the field of creative design.
