Pluk / Tjep.
Dutch designers Tjep. recently created and completed the identity and interior for Pluk, a shop serving healthy take-away food in Haarlem, the Netherlands. Here the counters are filled with fake vegetables arranged according to colour.
Pluk is a contemporary take-away formula with fresh juices, yogurt shakes and special tossed salads that customers can create to order. The essence of the formula is to enjoy good food; the emphasis on health is implicit. The interior tries to reflect this juxtaposition of healthy and fun, to counter the prevalent undynamic look of health and healthy.
The counters contain fruits and vegetables in three color groups, which are actually fake, but because of the way they integrated a special gradient effect the whole counter becomes simply delicious. Apparently it took months to develop exactly the right colours, gradients and fruit/vegetable combinations to achieve the final, colourful result
