ABOUT ADEKUNLE ADEYEMI
Currently at OMA, Adekunle leads three projects located in Qatar Education City: The Rand Policy Institute, The Qatar Foundation Headquarters and The Central Library as well as the high rise headquarters for the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in China.
Adeyemi has worked on several competitions including the winning entries for a Public Library in Oslo (Norway) and Mercati Generali in Rome (Italy). In 2004 he completed OMA’s Samsung Museum of Art in Seoul which won a prestigious Korean award.
Before joining OMA, between 1999 and 2002, he was project architect for Pieach limited and Inter-Designs Partnership on many built residential projects including a Bank headquarters in Abuja (Nigeria) and General hospitals in Akwa Ibom (Nigeria).
